What happens when an industrial production method is disrupted by the designer?
In this project, Senior examines the production technique of ceramic ware with a jigger — a type of potter's wheel. Using simple and surprising means he created a series of ceramics, each expressing a different manipulation of the traditional method. The project exposes the transitions and gaps between industry and craft, factory and studio, between ceramics and concrete, between the smooth and the coarse, and between surface and rotation.
